Welcome - Bienvenue - Fáilte!

Dear fellas,

I have the grand honor to welcome you all to the Éire O'Vision Song Contest! It's the second time we all come together and celebrate music across the globe despite all political issues. This is a competition to celebrate the power of music.

The idea of the contest was born due to the fact that multiple traditional countries didn't  participate in our beloved Eurovision Song Contest 2026. My home - the Republic of Ireland - is one of them. That's why we have planned and hold our very own private contest to celebrate artists, music and have the craic with the spirit of togetherness. There is no need to explain that this should be a respectful competition.

The first edition was held in early 2026 with the Republic of Ireland as the winner. It was not my aim to win but I'm very proud to be the very first winner of the competition. Due to all the words of encouragement; we already plan the second edition of the Éire O'Vision Song Contest - once again in Dublin in Dublin 2027.

The rules are still the same - you choose a country you want to participate with. You can find the countries that are already taken in a separate list to the right of this comment. You don't have to be a citizen of this country but the artist you chose has to be a native of that country. Otherwise your entry must be sung in one of the official languages of that country (e.g. you choose Cyprus - The artist is from Greece, the song is entirely in Greek - check!).

There are no regulations about the length of the entry, you can either send an single artist or a band. The entry you submit should not be an entry of the Eurovision Song Contest!  If you want to participate, please contact me via PM. All the songs will be collected and uploaded. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a message too.

Shortly after the final list of entries is revealed and the songs are in - the voting begins. Depending on the amount of entries taking part the voting structure will be announced. We expect around 90 countries to take part. There will be a single show without any semi-finals.

We try to make this an beautiful event with good music, surprises and the spirit the Eurovision Song Contest was once known for. Let's celebrate the passion of music without any political influence or bad behaviour and just enjoy the music.

This page will be updated soon.

Sláinte me fellas
Ryan
